Can I route signals on a DAQmx simulated device?

Hello,

I'd like to route simulated AO to AI on a DAQmx simulated device. Is this possible and how? If AO-to-AI is not possible, is it possible to route simulated signal ("Simulate Signal", etc.) to AI of a DAQmx simulated device?

Sorry, neither of these options are available in a DAQmx simulated device.

Hi golubovski,

Dennis is correct. There is no way to do either of those using a DAQmx simulated device. The main purpose of the simulated devices is so that you can develop code for a piece of hardware that is not present in your development system.  They are not meant to help debug your LabVIEW code.  Physical signal routing is only possible when an actual DAQ device is present.
