Is there an inverse to the IMAQ Unwrap function

I'd like to wrap an array of data in the opposite direction to the IMAQ unwrap function. Preferably as if I'm looking at the outside of a cylinder, although from the inside would do.

Hello nrcan,

Unfortunately we do not currently have a function that can do such. Be sure to submit it as a product suggestion at www.ni.com/contact- we take our product suggestions very seriously when considering features for future releases!

I've run into this problem myself.  A work-around is to use the IMAQ Unwrap VI function but make the annulus in the opposite direction (mirrored) of the annulus you'd like the image to be wrapped.

If you want the rectangular image to be curved downward (as if an arc of the top of a circle), then create an annulus which is curved upward (like an arc at the bottom of a circle).  Make sure this annulus includes all of the rectangle you'd like to "wrap." This would mean it'd be oversized for the rectangular image.
