Cannot connect to vbai engine with labview 2015

Hello,

I am trying to run Vision Builder AI 2015 64bit from Labview 2015 and I am unable to connect to the vbai engine.  I have reinstalled and fully updated both vision builder and labview. I have no problem connecting using the 2014 version of the software. Has anyone else experienced this problem or know of a possible solution? thank you.

Hi MrWendle,

Are you able to open VBAI 2015 64 bit independently correctly? What if you try to connect to VBAI 2015 32 bit?

When navigating to C:\Program Files\National Instruments\Vision Builder AI 2015, can you see the same files as in the image below?

Yes I can open VBAI 2015 64 bit and 32bit idependently, Connecting to the vbai 2015 32 bit in labview has the same result as the 64 bit.

Files all seem to be in place

Try doing a repair of Vision Builder AI. This error indicates the registry is messed up and doesn't have the path to the Vision builder AI folder. If the repair doesn't work I can send you a registry file that should add the path to your registry to get it working.
