I'm working on a system which uses a line scanner to aquire an image of a rotating cylinder. Each line is triggered by an encoder and the image size is set to give 360 degrees per image. The motion control is done using a Galil controller and for accurate position measurement I would like to be able latch the position of the start of each frame in the Galil. The ideal situation would be to trigger a pulse on one of the trigger outputs from the PCI-1426 at the start of each frame. I've looked at the Generate Pulse2.vi and Trigger Drive2.vis, but none of the signals which could be used for this are available for line scanners.
Is there any way of doing this?
