there's an alien inside my 8.5 distribution editor

I get all sorts of popups saying there's control callback exceptions in the dist editor and I can't get it to quit except by killing CVI using the task manager.

I think I saw this once before.

Hi menchar,

Please try and answer the following questions?

• Can you provide us with any specific steps to follow so that we can reproduce the issue on our end?
• Do you receive these error messages all the time or just occasionally?
• Did you just start seeing these errors after some upgrade (i.e. maybe of CVI, maybe installing a new driver, etc?)
• What version of CVI are you using?
• Can you get these dialogs to occur if you try and build any shipping example? Or do you only see these dialogs with your project?

Any information would be helpful as these issues are tough to debug without having steps to reproduce it.

I think it's a 8.5 issue that was fixed in 8.5.1

I was on the 8.5.0 system, and had deja vu all over again but now getting 8.5.1 so I should be OK going forward I'm hoping.
