timeout in goose vi

Hi,

I'm trying to create a subscriver vi, using the subscriver vi example. I don't have hardware, just a SCL file. At the subvi "wait for GOOSE" I have the message "Timeout". I want to say what kind of problems made this result. I have set addressing data, mac address and dataset address according to my SCL file. I have run a publisher before and subscriver and publisher are set on the same net (same mac address). I can't understand what I'm doing wrong.

Can  anyone help me?

Don't you mean subscriber and not subscriver?

You write that more than once so it isn't a simple typo.

I have another question. someone can explain me how to use "Operate vi", located in Server project, with Client Application? I don't understand how I have to updated latest timestamp.
