labview 8.5 Control/Indicator properties not loading in windows 7

i working in labview 8.5 in windows 7 home premium OS. i try to open Control/Indicator properties by right click on then but not opening the properties windows. PLS help

Do you mean to say, when the VI is running? Or generally, even when the VI is not running?

 in not running condition only. i try to change properties like numeric format, graph/chart properties etc,. nothing is coming on properties selection.

trough block diagram control properties also not coming. i am using windows 7 home premium & Labview 8.5. PlS help, its main thing for my project development.

Try repairing the software installation. Go to Control Panel>Programs and Features>National Instruments. When the dialog box of National Instruments opens up with the list of installed National Instruments software installed, select LabVIEW and click Repair. Just for your information LabVIEW 8.5 is not even officially supported with Windows 7. Windows 7 supports LabVIEW 2009 SP1 or later.

i tried with labview repair also but it still not working. any idea about from where this properies loading. i contact NI trough the e-mail they did't responding untill know. PLS HELP.

I am from NI and we didn't respond because it would be redundant. Additionally the forum is the fastest means to get a reply regarding queries.

Does the properties option come grayed out or it is not present at all? Why don't you try a latest version of LabVIEW on evaluation which is supported with Windows 7? If you want, we can send you an evaluation copy of LabVIEW 2010 to your residence.

properties not present at all (not coming anything). i have 2010 DVD but problem is i can't able to buy 2010 know. i want to give exe to customer without evaluation mark.

I think in that case, you might have to try it on an XP system.

windows 7 Laptop is mainthing for me. know i am working as developing code in windows 7 laptop & for only access the properties i going for XP PC. But it wasting my time. my XP PC is very slow one for that only i gone for new laptop. but my bad luck windows 7 not support LV 8.5.  😞
