force feedback joystick

Hi !
I have to drive a Logitech "Momo racing force feedback wheel" , a steering wheel , from Labview (under Windows).
No problem to get the wheel position, buttons etc with the  joystickAcquire and associated VI's. But how to control the feedback ?
This can be done via DirectX , but is there now any more simple way then to re-write a full dll interface ?
- Does'nt Labview 8.2 now contain a more general VI to control joysticks then just "input" ?
- Has someone already made a VI which controls the 'whole' joystick capabilities under Windows (XP or 2000) ?

N.B : The last answer found about this theme doesn't give the answer  (Question "Force feedback joystick and labview", evila 07-06-2005,  Answer Ankita, 07-07-2005 09:12 PM)

Thanks for your help

Dear Bertrand,

Thanks for your request. There aren't more functions in LabVIEW that explain in the forum you read or as describe in the following KB.

Best regards
