conditional disable structure compiled or not?

I've got a questino concerning the conditional disable structure.

If a part of code is disable and then I run my RT application; is this code compiled or not at all?

I'm not positive, but I believe that it is NOT compiled.

Code in disabled frames is not compiled at all.

As mentioned by others, code in disabled frames is not compiled.  We do, however, run what we call "proptypes" on it to do syntax-checking and report any of the errors as warnings.
