Hello
Has anybody noticed that in LabVIEW 2009 the Dolph-Chebyshev Window does not produce the proper window for the last element of the signal?
I see it also for other windows, always the last element is missing, or actually all elements are improperly calculated.
cheers

Could you please post a simple example that reproduces this behavior? and shows how the value is different from the expected.

Hi
Sure please find it enclosed. AS you can image Matlab has the right answer.
The code for this is enclosed.

If you implement the formula shown in the help you get something very close to the Matlab result (probably a bug in my code keeping it from being exact). Looks like they flubbed this one.

What to do about it?

Well, you seem to have Matlab available. Otherwise you can test out my quick and dirty VI to see if it gives the right result.
It looks like it is time for NI to get a mitt and get in the game.

Thanks a lot for the vi, I will use it for now.
Should I file a request to NI or they will dive in by themselves?
I appreciate your help
thanks

It is really hit-or-miss on whether or not they see it here. I would give it a couple of days and then contact them directly. They probably would never catch this one on their own...

Will do.
