USB-8451 EEPROM Error

Hi there, On several occassion when I USB-8451 to change my EEPROM IC data, the software prompt me "I2C master lost arbitration and failed the seize the bus during tranmission of a data byte" or "I2C master lost arbitration and failed the seize the bus during tranmission of an address+direction byte" or "The connection for the given device handle has been lost". For every 10 tries, at least 50% will prompt me error messages. When there is no error, the data is changed successfully. I have attached the vi, EEPROM IC spec file and error message print screen. If possible, pls kindly let me know what is the possible cause. Software: LabVIEW 7.1 Thanks & Regards, Norman

Hi,

Do you get all three messages each time, or do the error messages alternate?  Does one appear more than the others?  Have you checked your physical connections to the 8451 to make sure they are secure?
