Read from CVT

Solved!

I am having difficut to read tags in the CVT from a different VI. The error message is "Tag is not found in the CVT". I can read CVT tags successfully from the VI the CVT is created. I copy the reading part of the code to another VI, but it does not work. Can anyone help?

Attach your code, it is hard to know what you are doing wrong without seeing it.

Hi Hooovahh, what a cool name. Thanks for your reply. The vis are attached. They are very simple, but I must have done something really stupid. Thanks for your help. Regards.

Your problem is that both are not running together.  When your VI that creates the tags is done running, all of that memory stored in the CVT is gone.  So when you run your other VI, there is no data to read.

If you make a VI that calls these two VIs in order, you should see your data.
