HP 4145a SPA problem: can't set the device to LISTEN or REMOTE mode

Hello everyone,

I recently got the HP 4145a SPA device, and I want to set it to LISTEN or (even better for me...) to REMOTE mode.

When I turn on the device, the 4 lights mode indicators (SRQ,LTN,TLK,RMT)  don't lit, and pressing the LOCAL button doesn't help either.

Pressing the PLOT button does lit the TLK  light, but I can't change it to other modes by pressing the LOCAL button.

Please help me,

Why are you playing around with the button? Does it not go into remote when you communicate to it with GPIB? Does it show up in MAX?
