Error installing Report Generation Toolkit (LabVIEW 2010) - doesn't find MS Office

When trying to install the Report Generation Toolkit with LabVIEW 2010, I get an error that:

Microsoft Office version XP or higher was not detected on the system. Install Microsoft Office XP or higher before using the NI LabVIEW 2010 Report Generation Toolkit for Microsoft Office.

I do actually have MS Office 2010 installed on this computer.  Have tried reinstaling this toolkit several times, rebooting, no luck. Have also not found anything on this when searching, maybe I'm just using wrong search terms.

Any suggestions?

Hi Zephyrious,

Sounds like you might have to reinstall your MS Office 2010 program as it looks like you have a registry key error.

Try a repair install and try it again. Should work!

Thanks, reinstalling Office was the solution, but I want to add some additional information in case anyone else encounters the same set of circumstances.

I was advised to re-download MS Office prior to reinstalling.  I had used a link that handles both download and installation ("Click-to-Run"). When I used that, the registry was not correctly modified during installation.  New download (different link from seller) and reinstallation fixed the issue.
