Error #3: Memory.cpp on line 563 using a PMD-1208LS DAQ

Hi NI People,

I am an undergraduate student at Princeton University and am having some trouble. I tried creating a system to aquire a waveform using the analog inputs of a Personal Measurement Device's PMD-1208LS multipurpose DAQ (USB interface). I installed the libraries that came with the CD and used the AIn ScFg VI included with the DAQ. When I try to run the VI, the indicator light on the DAQ indicates it is reading data, but then soon after (before I see any data on the screen), I get the above message, and the program crashes. I tried running the VI on two different systems, one Win 98, but the one I am running on now is a Dell Latitude with Win XP and 256MB RAM.

You should contact Personal Measurement with this pro
blem. NI can't
really help to debug other peoples hardware. And I doubt there will be
many users here with experience with this specific hardware. As it seems
the driver is corrupting somehow memory it should not touch. This would
indicate a bug in the driver or more probably the VIs provided with the
hardware.
