Dynamically change number of plots in stacked plots

Hi,

Im have been reading something about this in the forum and it looks like this cannot be done.

I then tried to get around this by switching the visibility of the different plots but was thinking that someone might have a better way to do this.

I attach my test VI and I would appreciate any comments and suggestions to make it better. As it is now it does not scale that well so any ideas are appreciated:)

Regards
Henrik

Hi Gjelstrup,

I then tried to get around this by switching the visibility of the different plots but was thinking that someone might have a better way to do this.

You could use a subpanel container with several subVIs prepared to show a different number of plots…

As it is now it does not scale that well

As you have to set the number of stacked plots at edit time that feature will NEVER scale "so well"…

(Your example VI would be even nicer when you would avoid using VIs/functions from "special" toolkits…)

Best regards,
GerdW

Hi

Thanks for the tip:)

I made a ver. with "normal" functions and this time I use a tap to go between plots.

I'll try out the subpanel later:)
