DAQmx error 6704

Hi, we've realized a task that collects data from file and set the output in analog way [4-20 mA] with 3 device 6704 PCI. The OS is XP SP3, the platform is LV 7.1 and the DAQmx version is 8.9. Very often the program crashes with message depicted in the attach. When it appens the PC do not respond to any command given via TCP/IP so it is not more available the remote control. It seems that the DAQ start task.vi sometime can't find the device even if the OS can manage correctly the 3 PCI card. Did anyone met this kind of trouble and found a workaround?
