Computer recognized PCIe-GPIB but not PCI device

In NI MAX and windows device manager, I have the PCI-GPIB device, but it can not recognize the PCI 6713 and PCI 6733 that are connected.  Both of the PCI devices have a green LED that flashes for about a second every couple seconds.  Everything is connected and powered as it should be.  Thanks for any help.

The GPIB card has nothing to do with either the 6713 or 6733. Why do you even mention it?

Have you installed DAQmx?

I did not know that they were not related in any way.

Yes I have installed that

What version? Are you still not seeing them listed in device manager or MAX?

9.5.1.  And I do not see it in the device manager, or MAX.

I just installed 15.1 and there is still no recognition of the devices.

If it helps, I have a pci extender from my computer to a homemade box that connects to both devices

The extender is probably the problem. You should have mentioned that in the first post. I've not seen extenders used successfully and NI does not test or recommend any.

The 'extender' we use is just a PCI Express 4-Port 4-Lane Packet Switch (XIO3130) from TI.  Is that still problematic and an explanation for why we cannot see the devices?

If you can detect the cards when plugged directly into a pc, then yes.
