Programmatically Change Visible Plots on Waveform Graph Using LabVIEW

Overview

This VI demonstrates the capability of using a custom interface in order to alter the visible plots on a waveform graph.

Description

This provides a more intuitive experience for the user while the program is running, and it ensures the visibility of each plot can be toggled without the presence of the plot visibility check box. The bottom loop with the three Simulate Signal VIs demonstrates the capability of this VI. The contents of this bottom loop can be changed in order to view any data desired on a multiple plot waveform graph.

Requirements

• LabVIEW 2012 (or compatible)

Steps to Implement or Execute Code

1. Open the VI "Programmatically Change Plot Visibility 2012 NIVerified.vi"
2. Run VI
3. Click control buttons such as Disable Plot 1, Disable Plot 2, or Disable Plot 3
4. Click control buttons such as Enable Plot 1, Enable Plot 2, or Enable Plot 3
