wire an external clock to a timed loop

Hello

I`m trying a lot but this simple task doesn`t work.

I have an USB-6251.
I will count pulses in a time specified by an external clock.

The attached VI works only with the software clock.
Every try ends up in an error message.

Can someone told me how to add a port where i can physicaly wire my clock?

I will use my to counters for counting so i cant use them as inputs for the loop.
