database path changing

On both Ultiboard 11 and Multisim 11 the path to the databases is constinally resetting to C:. We keep them and alll design work on a network drive for backup reasons.

I will change the path Options -> Global Preferences -> Path -> Database Files close and restart and all is well. Sometime later, next day or later in the same day, I restart the program and the paths have reset. This is happing with all three database files, Master, Corporate, and User.

I tried searching the forms for similar and came up empty.

If someone could point me to, or knows of a fix please let me know.

Hi Richard,

You should be able to move the corporate database to the network but the User and Master database must be saved on the local drive.

After you moved the corporate database file to the network, change the path in the Options menu; make sure you click the "apply" button.  Close Multisim and start it up again and see if the change was applied.
