How to set active antenna for ni-usrp driver with LFRX daughter board?

Hi Luong,

To set the active antenna while using an Ettus daughter board such as the LFRX, you will need to use internal use internal names to refer to the internal connectors inside the device case.  On my USRP the internal connectors are labeled "J1" and "J2" on the PCB board.  You can check on your daughter board to see what they are labeled as.  These names won't be listed in the drop down selections for the Active Antenna control, but you can always change the control to a constant and use the internal name.  Let me know if you are still having issues after trying this and I'd be happy to help.

2 SMA connector labels (PCB) on my LFRX-LF rev 2.2 board are: "J18" and "J19". I've set "active antenna" field in LV USRP 1.0 example with label connector name but it don't work. Could you help me, please?

Hi Luong,

To figure out why this behavior is happening I need more information about the behavior that you are seeing.  The more details that you can provide the easier it will be to figure out why it is not working.

How do you know that it is not working properly?  Are you getting an error code?  If so, please post it.  Do you see any signal at all when you run the example?  Also, please verify that if you selected J18 as your active antenna, you have the antenna connected to the external SMA is routed to the J18 connector internally.  Please let me know as much as you can about the behavior you are seeing and what is working versus what is not working would be greatly appreciated.
