How To Turn Off 2 Hz Filter on SCXI- 1102

I would like to measure dynamic signals up to and above 100 Hz using the SCXI- 1102 Module with the 1303 terminal block. Is there a way of turning off the 2 Hz filter(mechanically or with programming. Please Help.

Hi John,

There is no way to programatically or physically disable the filter on your 1102 module. The filters are hard wired into the module on each channel and cannot be bypassed.

Perhaps another module like the 1102B or 1104C might better suit your application.

Thanks,
Sal

The filters on these cards are fixed.  I talked with an enginneer to see if I could make a physical hardware change to the card and he did not recommend it.  For 50 60 hertz isoltation you can use an external filter or on that NI has for the scxi chassis.  I have used both with great results.

No that property node will have no effect on the Filter present on the SCXI 1102, since it is a fixed filter
