Rob F,
Since you mentioned it, the 'reply' in my other post did not answer my question. I am trying to find out how the 6533 knows that the SCB-68 is attached. I have a labview EXE that does not even attempt to run unless the SCB-68 is attached.
I am aware of the 5 switches on the SCB-68, none of which I believe provides feedback to the 6533. Please correct me if I am mistaken.
Essentially, I am looking for any snags I may encounter for an interface board my company is desiging for an application that the SCB-68 will not work for. If there is any kind feedback from the SCB-68 to the 6533, we would need to make adjustments on our board for it.
Best Regards,
Rob

Hello,
The community can get confused if a forum thread is answered
in multiple locations. For the purposes
of the community fully understanding the question, the other forum post can be
found here. We will continue to answer this particular question in this thread.
The SCB-68 does not provide any feedback to the NI-6533, it is just a breakout box. What do you mean that the application will not work at the initial load screen? What is happening at this screen? Does this initial load screen work if the SCB-68 is attached without anything connected to its terminals?
There might be terminal connected to other terminal, which will determine if the SCB-68 is connected.
