table hangs after carriage return in cell

During data entry into a table cell if I just enter a carriage rutrun into a cell then click on another cell the table is unusable. restarting the vi does not fix it. Any fix for this?

What version of LabVIEW are you using?  I got did a quick test in 8.5 and didn't seem to have an issue.  Can you post a VI that demonstrates your problem?

Put a table inside a while loop, when the vi is running click in a cell press carriage return then click on a different cell. I have tried this with 8.21 on windows 2000 and 8.5 on vista

I tried this on 8.5 running on XP SP2 and it doesn't seem to crash. Try the attached vi.  It will help if you can upload your vi.

Also, I dont have LV 8.2 but I have saved the vi for previous version if you want to check it running under 2000. Hope it helps.

It crashes when you use a carriage return without entering any data just the carraige return! Do this click on a cell hit carraige return click in a diferent cell

Sorry to say it still doesn't.  You may have other issues.. installation maybe? As Matthew said.. it helps if you post the VI you are having issues with.
