How can I write continuous data into a file for about 15-20 min? Welcome any suggestion.

hi ray

i checked your vi but onces again its not creating new file ,data saved in only one file, its not creating new date file in midneight

please will you check it and change onces again

As Ray said,

 

"If you want to change the name of the file at regular intervals (minutes / hours / days), then the architecture needs to change a little.

Before doing so, you need to identify the relationship between the samples, writing to file and how this takes place within the regular time interval.

 

That is because you  want to determine where and when the filename changes."

 

Also, I told you in reply 16, what you need to do.  And Ray pointed you to another thread where the same thing needed to be done.  See that thread here.

Now is the time to take the advice and examples given and work on this program yourself.Smiley Wink

ya  i agree with your statment

but i told you i have to change file at midneight i.e.12am

and its should same format which i send you and which is in vi

and this file should save in same folder

i checked that filecreate example it is in lv8.5 and i am using lv8.2

i can't upgread my lv so will you send me this example in 8.2

well i have to create file in same folder but create file with new day i.e. midneight

so will you help me for that

i don't know how to use shift register in program

will you send some related program that i will check
