need some tips for a program at tcp/ip

well guys... my program is working fine.. but i need do some modifications...

first one: I'm monitoring 3 voltages and 3 currents all the time... but i want to show the value only after 1second or  1 minute... not all the time... how can i do it??

second one: I want to start the program and monitore the voltages and current.. without any client connected.... but if a client connect to my program... he can see the values... i think this part isn't so difficult... but i need help anyway

third one: i want the server program... save a file that contain the RMS with the values of voltages and current.. like 1 file for each minute... not for the samples... but for the real value... becuz i read 3600 samples per second... so if i save the samples... it will be very big... and will full my HD.. so how can i make this server vi save a file with that values??

As mentionned in the other thread, it's better to use proper English when dealing with old-timers like Ben & myself...
