My group and I are creating LabVIEW VI's to run a circuit in correlation with a DAQ board to simulate curve tracers for Diodes, FETs, and BJTs. This is a senior design project and while we don't want the solutions given to us we were wondering if anyone out there has started a project like this and could give us advice on where to start? Our external circuit has selectable resistors for the collector and base. We figured on using digital logic to control these selections and therefor are making use of Digital output off of a NI DAQ card. We figure to allow the user to decide such things as determining Vc max, Ic max.. etc.. I can provide more information if needed. I look forward to any input from anyone.. Thanks
