The BNC 2110 is not a DAQ device. It is only a connector block that a DAQ device in your computer can connect to. Find out the type of card you have and look it up here. Then download the driver. If your card and cersion of LabVIEW support it, you should use DAQmx.

hi Dennis,
what's your means about "If your card and cersion of LabVIEW support it, you should use DAQmx."? i have a card NI PCI-6111 with LabView 8.2, but i can't find my accessory BNC-2110, it always show
" l'outil de diagramme de connecxions ne supporte pas cet accessoire: BNC-2110
les accessoire supportes pour votre périphérique sont:
 -TBX-68
 -CB-68LPR
 -SCB-68
 -CB-68LP"

it's in french, which means briefly that my device can't support the BNC-2110, but what's strange is that when i take the "test" for the device, it acquire very well the signals itself, and at the same time, there is a another problem that il could find just "2 path-0 and 1"

i have no idea what happend, is it the problem of the version of DAQ?? if DAQmx 8.3, it will work or no??
look forward your answer!!

If you've wired up the adapter correctly, everything should work just fine whether you've specified it in MAX or not. The 2110 just wires the signals from the DAQ board to some BNC connectors. It so happens that my version of DAQmx (8.3) does list the 2110 as an accessory but I don't see why it being listed or not makes any difference.

thanks, but the problem is that i just can use 2 path "vi0" and "vi1", the others wouldn't be find?? look at the "image 03"
the 2nd problem is that i said previously, look at "image 02"
and the 3rd problem is that when i open "devices and interface/traditional device NI-DAQmx/PCI6111/property", identify the accessory "BNC2110", but next time when i open it again, il will show "aucun(anything)", i dont know why??

can you give me some suggestion, thanks!

I'm not sure what the pictures are supposed to mean. Are you using traditional or DAQmx. In the one picture, it looks like you are trying to assign an accessory in traditional daq. I have no problems assigning the accessory in DAmx. Also, since you only have 2 analog inputs, I don't understand what the problem is with the image that shows ai0 and ai1. That is what is supposed to be shown.

After translating the French, I see that the issue is with the connection diagram in the DAQ Assistant. I've never used this as this is just a documentation tool and I use something else. The fact that the BNC-2110 does not show up here should not affect your ability to acquire signals.

thanks for your sympathetic. i always don't understand why i have only 2 analog inputs with BNC2110, normally it should be "ai0,ai1...ai7 or some more", just like what is showed for the last step in the image,
http://zone.ni.com/cms/images/devzone/tut/a/5d95fe691059.gif
so my question is "if i want to mesure 2 or several inputs, voltage for one device, temperate for another...etc,for example, how can i do so???"

by the way, i have the 2, traditional NI-DAQ and NI-DAQmx
