Looking for example soucre code for a USB 6008 in labwindows CVI or regular C

I'm not sure if this is the correct forum. 

But, I've just recieved a NI USB 6008. The projects goal is to drive it with pure C code or Lab windows CVI.  This is to show students at a local high school  how to use C / labwindows.    Thanks in advance for any help.

What does register level programming have to do with anything?

 

After installing DAQmx, did you check the CVI\Samples folder?
