Add users or computers for licenses with command line

Is there a way to add users/computers through the command line or without using the UI?

In the upcoming VLM 2024 Q4 release (which might be completed around October 10th), we are adding Command Line support for adding users/computers. So, after that release, you will be able to add users or computers with command line.

Could you provide more details? What additional features will the CLI enable?

Hi Michal,

These new commands are now released as part of the Volume License Manager 2024 Q4 release. For more information, see this help manual topic: https://www.ni.com/docs/en-US/bundle/volume-license-manager/page/using-command-line-interface-option...

Ok, thanks. I was expecting a command to create a disconnected license file but I see there is no such option 😞
