Connect AVL Cruise with Veristand

I want to build HIL test using Veristand and AVL Cruise.

But I have no idea how to connect AVL Cruise with Veristand.

I think I need to register AVL Cruise as Custom Device in Veristand.

In my opinion It requires  LabView to register Custom Device in Veristand.

Is it right? If not is there any easy ways to connect AVL Cruise with Veristand?

If there are any manual or references please tell me, I'd appreciate it.

AVL Cruise is among the list of verified models that can be used in NI VeriStand. For support on the creation of the models, please consult the third-party technical support.

Once created, please review the VeriStand Manual for “Adding and Configuring a Model”.

If you have an existing Custom Device LabVIEW project
The custom devices created using shipping Custom Device Template Tool can be deployed to PXI Pharlap target without modification. If you wish to deploy to cRIO or PXI Linux RT, follow the instructions in How to run a custom device on target RT Linux to modify LabVIEW project and XML file.

If you are going to create from scratch
Use NI VeriStand Custom Device Project Wizard to create LabVIEW project that contains PXI and cRIO (VxWorks & Linux) Real-Time targets. A consolidated version of this wizard is available at Github.
