Can host PC be a Virtual machine in Azure cloud

Do to certain security concerns within the company, I am trying to determine if a VM running on Azure can connect to Veristand on a PXIe controller running the NI Linux RT through the gateway?

The PC would be running either Win10/11 and have Veristand installed. The scripts would be written using Python and applicable Veristand plugin. We are using Veristand 2023 Q4.

O cannot try it at this time since we are waiting for the HW to arrive.

If your VM can be connected to PXIe controller, you can use it to connect through Gateway.

Additionally, you can also install Veristand in your local PC, allowing you to tap into gateway running in VM and control the GUI whenever needed.
