Hi Dusty,

In what context are you getting this message?  What hardware, drivers, and software (and versions) are you using?  Can you post a screenshot of the message?

Thanks,

I'm using Labwindows 7.1 on a VXI chassis running Windows XP.  The error looks like this:

NON-FATAL RUNTIME ERROR

"D:\mde_823\Instrument Drivers\v241\ksv241b2c"

line 217, col 18 thread id 0.00000248

function viopen:{return value=-1073807300 [0.bffff003c]}.

insuffufficient system resources to perform necessary memory allocation.

I don't need to know what the error is I just need help understanding the thread id.  I get the same error quite a bit, but the thread id is different why is that?  What is it?

Thanks,

Dusty

The thread ID simply refers to which cpu thread the code is running in.
