Why my computer shut down failed when I install a PCI-MXI-2 card?

When I found this problem,I replace
the driver version with NI-VXI3.2.
But this problem is still existent.
The version of NI-PAL we using is
1.5.0f0
Please help me.

Hello,

It turns out that this is a know issue with PCI-MXI-2 and Windows 98. If you could please create a service request at ni.com/ask and either call into our support lines or send an e-mail request, we can get you an updated version of NI-PAL that will fix your issue,
