I tried the solution given in document ID: 2IK7BNLS, however, I have a SMIP2 slice. Are the shared memory allocations the same? Do I need to create a new device in order for the switch to be recognized by MAX?
Have you contacted the manufacturer (VXI Technologies?) of you SMIPII module? They would know whether or not the shared memory is the same. How are you controlling the VXI chassis? Embedded or remote controller? Which switch are you using? Perhaps with a little more information I'll be able help track down what you are looking for.
