I'working with a VME chassis by using the VME-PCI8015 Interface kit in windows2000. In the VME chassis there are also 3 user-custom VME boards under development/test. The MAX configuration is Ok and when I launch resman at startup in my labwindows application no errors are detected. I use VISA for register I/O operation and VME interrupt management. Every time that one of the 3 VME boards generates a bus error and I launch resman the following error occurs:
"VXI Resource Manager failed due to the following error: Unable to initialize NI-VXI driver. The resource is valid, but VISA cannot currently access it".
How can I workaraound this situation when bus errors occur?
