I am updating an older system to more robust COTS configuration and need to assign a different IRQ to each Cubic VXI Rx'r in the chassis. This was done automatically with my old controller (NI pc870) but with the replacment GPIB/VXI-C all instruments come up on IRQ7.
I have experimented with the NVConfig and only managed to get all Rx'rs to come up on IRQ6.
My goal is use the GPIB as a dumb (completely unconnected) VXI controller to simply boot and arbitrate the the BUS. I have an embedded VME board to service the interrupts.
