Hi There,
I am playing with cRIO 9037 & NI 9252 (24 bit AI module).
the problem is that it does not work in FPGA programming mode, please refer to the error message indicated in below picture; but according to cRIO hardware compatibility chart, it should work. https://www.ni.com/en-us/support/documentation/supplemental/08/c-series-module-and-compactdaq-compac...
Can you please help to check this problem, or give some hint if there's anything I missed.
Regards!
Swangone

Hey Swangone,
The problem might be related to the software version you are using. The 9252 module's FPGA support was added in 2019. You can find more information here: Software Support for CompactRIO, CompactDAQ, Single-Board RIO, R Series, and EtherCAT

Hi Oscar,
Thanks for your kind support!
I've reinstalled the software as below, but it still does not work.

I do not have a 9252 with me to test, but I was able to add it manually to LabVIEW 2019. I recommend trying the following:

Here are my software versions, in case you want to check if there's any discrepancies that might explain the behavior:

Hi Oscar,
I am trying to install the software to be an identical version as yours.
I've installed MAX 20.0 and cRIO driver 20.5 as below, but result in NI-RIO 19.0, I guess this can be the reason that NI9252 is not supported, because a minimum requirement is 19.6., you screenshot also shows NI-RIO 19.6
so, if my assumption is right, how can I get NI-RIO 19.6
Thanks!

That's very interesting behavior... I installed NI-CompactRIO 19.6 from NI Package Manager. In theory, the NI-RIO driver should be included there, indeed: How Can I Install the NI-RIO Driver?
I wonder... did the computer reboot after installing the new driver? If you installed CompactRIO 20.0, I expect NI-RIO 20.0, similar to:

The problem is solved by reinstalling everything to version 20.0
Thank you Oscar for your kind support!
Have a nice day!
