I am looking to interface with a RVDT with the following electrical characteristics:
Excitation Supply:Is a
Voltage 6 VRMS ±5%
Frequency 2500 Hz ±5%
Primary coil impedance 300 Ω min
RVDT outputs impedance 300 Ω max per secondary coil
It looks like the easiest route would be use a PXIe-4340 since it is designed specifically for this task. But I also need to investigate if using a cRIO is possible. Could I use a card like the NI-9269 to output a 2.5kHz sine wave at 6VRMS? I think the RVDT would require more current than 1 channel of the 9269 could drive, so could I stack some channels in parallel to increase current? And then I would need a voltage input module for the RVDT secondary voltages Va and Vb.
I'm new to RVDTs so I'm sure I'm missing something or over-simplifying...

Hi dK,
Have you found a solution ? I'm facing the same problem,
Respectfully,

It may be easier to use an external signal conditioning module such as LDM-1000 with a voltage or current input C-Series module
TE has a few more options as well - https://www.te.com/en/plp/signal-conditioners/YG2d5.html
