Good afternoon,
Have what I think to be a unique question. I am designing an RF-Front-end board that will be installed into a Hybrid Peripheral slot of the PXIe-1095 chassis. I am planning on getting power from the chassis through the P1 connector (+5V rail), however I will not need (or want) any of the other signals that are present on this connector. All of the signal I/O will be fed through the front plate of the card.
If the P1 connector leaves all of the signals floating (except the 5V rail) will the system perceive it as an empty slot? Will power still be fed to this slot in that case?
