PXI Modules not recognized by MAX

Hi all,

I have a PXIe-1095 chassis with controller and modules installed. I provisioned the controller with a base image along with drivers using MAX in remote mode. I can see the controller in MAX, however not the modules.

Hardware used:

• Chassis: PXIe-1095, PN: 158697G-01L, REV: 1.4
• Controller: PXIe-8881, PN: 149259C-410120L
• Modules:
  • PXIe-8510, Automotive Interface Module, 784122-01
  • PXIe-7821R, I/O KINTEX - 7 160T WITH DRAM, 783485-01

Any ideas on how to get these modules to show up on MAX?

Hello, I don't know much about this issue, and it's also the first time I've used NI's equipment for real-time simulation. My controller and chassis have just arrived and are not installed. I think you should be using the 8881 for real-time simulation of the car, I have some questions I would like to ask.

The PXIe 8881 controller I purchased is already equipped with a Linux RT system. So will I be able to recognize my 8881 controller in the MAX remote system? I see some documentation that configures the base image for the controller, what does it do? Do I have to configure a base image for real-time emulation (HIL)?
