NIHSDIO - get session reference

Hi,

i have a problem with the get session reference of NI-HSDIO (PXI-6541) in PXIe -1082.

In the PXI was installed in the past Labview 2010 and all is working. Now I installed LABview 2011 and I get the error in the attached file. I tried to delete the reference and create another with rightclick, but I see fields gray only.

If I try the same library of ni-HSDIO in a computer where the first version of Labview installed is 2011 it works.

In the PXI I don't tried to remove the 2010 release because I have the suspicion the code of ni-HSDIO developed with 2010 are not working in 2011 release

Can someone help me?

Hi Peppe,

what you are seeing is very similar to what is described in this post:

Please verify that the HSDIO.dll is not missing from the folder in

"C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2011\instr.lib\niHSDIO\niHSDIO.dll".

If so, I think this could be an installation related issue. Please try repar your installation or manually copy the dll to the folder above.
