NI-MAX unable to find Chassis

I have NI PXIe 1071 chassis and one multifunctional DAQ module. I am using NI-MAX to detect my chassis. But I can't find the chassis under device and interface. I am connecting PXIe chassis with PC via ethernet port. What is the problem behind it?

Since you use a Ethernet cable connecting to it, I guess you have a PXIe embedded controller on the slot 1. Connect a monitor to that controller and see if it is running a RTOS or Windows. If it is a Windows, you can omit the PC and use that controller as the PC. If it is a RTOS, the IP address should be shown on the screen. Try to detect the RT controller under the Remote System in NI MAX.

Thank you for your response. yes slot one is controller 8820. If I connect chassis to a monitor it states welcome to Labview Real-Time 15.0 and also IP address , mask.

Now what I have to do further with the IP address.
