NI 1483 is recognized but not powered

Hi, everybody.

I hope some of you can help me with the following problem.

I have a NI PXIe-1095 Chassis with a number of different modules installed (see the screenshot).

One of the modules is NI PXIe-7976R with NI 1483 adapter module installed in it.

So, as one can see, somehow the system recognized it, but it says that the module is not powered on.

I have no idea why this is so and did not find the way to turn the power on.

Does anybody have any idea what to do?

Thank you very much in advance.

Hello alex2013,

The "Powered On" is the indicator of the camera status.

Try to connect a camera to the adapter, turn it on and see if the "Powered On" status changes.

Hope this will help.

Best Regards

Dear Pater_Mater_Filius,

Thanks a lot for your advice.

Actually, the camera was on and the "Powered On" was still off.

However, I solved the problem as following.

As soon as I designed a very simple FPGA vi and compiled it, the option in the Adapter Module Properties became active and I got able to control the power of the adapter.
