Replacing PC with TestStand Base Deployment Engine

Hello All,

I am looking for some guidance in replacing a test PC which has the TestStand Base Deployment Engine license.  I do not have the original paperwork that came with the deployment engine and I'm wondering, will I have to purchase another license for the new PC?

I'm hoping there is way to transfer the license to the new PC.

I think if you contact NI they might be able to look up your serial number if you know who the purchaser was and can prove that it's still owned by you.

Jigg is correct, contact NI they should have a list of all the licenses your company bought.   We have had hard-drives go down on test PCs that had a deployment license on them, it seems you just need to use that same 'serial number' to activate the license on the new test PC.  If that doesn't work NI should be able to help you.
