Multisim Live Missing Toolbar Icons

Solved!
Go to solution

Recently I and four of my students have run into an issue with the toolbar in Multisim Live.  The icons for most of the tools are not displaying.  When we try to place a component from the missing icons the following error message pops up.  This has persisted across multiple computers, clearing the cache and cookies, and different network connections.  Any assistance to help resolve this would be greatly appreciated.

The issue doesn't reproduce on our side.

The first question that comes to mind is whether you are all on the same network.

If there are attacks coming from certain networks, the defense mechanisms will be more sensitive and block more traffic from those networks.

If you are all on the same network, can you reproduce the issue on another network?

I've tried on multiple networks and the issue has persisted.  Most recently I connected through the wifi hotspot on my phone and the icons were still missing.  I also cleared the complete browser history and they are still missing.

Have you tried from an incognito window?

Just tried Incognito mode with similar results.  This was through the wifi network at the school and through the hotspot on my phone.

If you open a public circuit, does the toolbar update?

Same behavior with public circuits.

Which OS are you using?

Have you tested with an ethernet cable connection or 5GHz WiFi connection?

I'm using Windows 11, Microsoft Edge v99.0.1150.39, and a 5GHz WiFi connection; no issues with toolbar icons.

I've tried in both Chrome and Firefox.  I've tried wired and wireless networks.  Not sure if it's 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz, the properties window is blocked by our network admin.
