I have recently bought this cDAQ-9174 with 3 modules installed: 9211 9234 9263.
I have Last version of Labview 8.6.1 (First Quarter 2009) and NI-DAQmx 9.0.1 drivers supplied with hardware installed in my system.
When I open MAX it shows empty slots.
How can I fix it?

Hello Sergey,
Could you try removing the modules from the chassis and re-adding them? Also, once they are added, what are the three LEDs on the front of the chassis doing? Finally, what is listed in Device Manager under Data Acquisition Devices?

Hi Sergey,
I have found this KB which has some quite useful tips and troubleshooting steps when NI hardware is not recognised.

I can see devices in Device Manager.
I have even followed the guides and disconnected cDAQ and reinstalled drivers(uninstalled and installed back after reboot).
It did not help. It still shows empty slots.
Help!!!

Hello Sergey,
I believe the issue has to do with the chassis itself. Because this is a very inconvenient issue and is also very rare, I would like to get your chassis replaced and the defective one sent to R&D sot hat we can figure out what is wrong with it. May I have your permission to have our Web Support Team retrieve the email address for your account so that I may contact you directly to get this issue resolved?
