USB-6211 and Win 7 32 bit

Windows finds the device when it is plugged into the USB port. MAX cannot find the device. What do I need to do to find and use the USB-6211 DAQ device?

Howdy Mark!

What version of DAQmx do you have installed?  If you don't have DAQmx you can download the latest version from here.

If Windows is recognizing the device how does it show up in Device Manager?  What is it named and does it have an excalamation point next to it?  It may be necessary to update the driver for the device.

Hi Mark

You might find this post helpful (assuming you are on one of the affected versions of DAQmx and already have the driver installed).  Also, check to make sure that the device shows up in Device Manager with the NI logo.  If it does not, right-click the device and select Update Driver to make sure the device is associated with DAQmx.
