Running v5 program in v8 and getting 10007 error

We are running a program from another lab.  The program was written in version 5 of Labview.  We have version 8 installed on our computer.  We are getting error code 10007.  "NI-DAQ LV: A channel, port, or counter is out of range for the device type or device configuration; or the combination of channels is not allowed; or the scan order must be reversed (0 last)."  The channels being scanned are the same on both computers.  Any ideas why we may be having this problem?

Hello Joe,

Are you using the same hardware in both cases?  If you have different hardware models for the two computers, the program may be using a channel that does not exist on your LabVIEW 8 computer.  I would check that all channels used in the program actually do exist on your hardware as a starting point.
